Making the Best of Trade Policy
Welcome to the Trade Economista website. I am Hanna C. Norberg, an independent trade policy advisor, with a Ph.D in International Economics and a solid experience in working with scholars, policy makers, governments, as well as the private sector on issues regarding how to shape and navigate international trade policy.
I do research and advising on issues I find relevant and exciting, mostly related to how agile thinking can improve trade and smarter trade rules can increase the size of the pie. Current fascinations include FTAs, Regulation, NTMs, Digital Trade Issues (Cross-Border Data Flows, Digital Trade Policy and Protectionism) as well as the future implications and use of blockchain in international trade and trade policy. I am honored to have done work for the European Commission, WTO, OECD, various universities, think tanks and national governments.
I have an ever inquisitive mind, and an extensive global network of brilliant experts from all walks of trade to collaborate with. I specialize in conducting bespoke studies, training/teaching and pulling together elite conferences and mastermind events for policy makers and organizations looking to really understand the underlying issues and dynamics of modern trade topics, as well as finding innovative ways to deal with them.
